What Should We Eat? Interview with Registered Dietitian Claire Wade-Hak

I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Claire Wade-Hak, RD, about nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices and making those choices fit our tastes in a sustainable way.

Claire graduated summa cum-laude from California State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in nutritional science. She is a registered dietitian and has counseled patients in various subspecialties, including critical care, substance abuse, psychiatric, spinal cord injury, bariatric surgery, renal dialysis, and home based primary care. She taught patient education classes on nutrition for pre-diabetes, diabetes, obesity, bariatric surgery and mental health. Claire is also a clinical dietitian and oversaw the clinical nutrition care for a 116-bed behavioral health medical center. Today she is the director of membership for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
